WINTER AND SPRING 2026
ACTING CLASSES IN MANHASSET

Professional training for kids and teens who want real skills, real confidence, and a place where they can stretch creatively without feeling judged.

The year moves quickly, and spots tighten even faster. Parents know this window matters. When a child finds the right studio, everything shifts. Their voice gets stronger. Their choices become clearer. They learn how to hold a room without shrinking or pretending. That is what families come here for.

The Actor’s Garage has been shaping young performers for years, and the energy inside our Manhasset studio is hard to miss. Parents talk about the change they see at home. Students walk in nervous and walk out excited to return. It is the kind of growth you notice in everyday moments, not just on stage.

WHAT MAKES OUR CLASSES DIFFERENT

Our teaching style is hands on and personal. Kids and teens work in small groups where they can explore character, movement, scene work, improvisation, and on-camera technique with coaches who understand how to pull the best out of them. The room stays grounded, clear, and encouraging, which keeps students focused without feeling pressured.

We train students the way professionals work. Cold reads. Commercial work. Scene breakdown. Adjusting to direction. Understanding emotional beats. It all shows up in class, and students begin to rely on these skills outside the studio too.

Local families know our reputation. We have been featured in multiple press outlets and community publications that highlight how our approach builds confidence as much as talent. Parents often mention that the coaching feels steady and reliable, which helps their kids settle in faster.

Photos of our classes and instructors help parents get a feel for the studio right away. You will be able to place those directly in your build to support the story on this page.

Some of our working actors!

Cree Cicchino

The fabulous CREE CICCHINO started her career at The Garage and has remained a huge fan of what we do. You may have recently SEEN her on HULU in BIG SKY.

“I’ve been working with Ann for years, and the knowledge, honestly, and guidance she provides has been immeasurably helpful in shaping the actor I am today. Without Ann, I doubt the confidence i have in myself as a performer would be what it is, and I’m forever grateful for her wisdom, humor and endless support”

Chaise Torio - AppleTv’s City On Fire

“The Actor’s Garage has played a huge part in the development of Chaise’s career. Not only are the classes fun, but they teach and develop skills and it was Ann’s dedication and encouragement that gave Chaise self-confidence and the desire to be an actor. She has opened up so many doors and her knowledge of the industry helped us tremendously. There are no words to describe how grateful we are to Ann.”

Jack Messina on the set of NBC MANIFEST, where he played CAL for 3 seasons.

“The Actor’s Garage opened up a world of opportunities for Jack and helped him realize his true calling as an actor. We’re grateful to Ann for creating a space for kids to discover their talents and help them reach their goals. “

READY TO BOOK YOUR CHILD’S SPOT

Winter and Spring classes fill earlier than most parents expect. Once a section closes, it stays closed, and families often end up waiting for the next season.

If you want your child in a room that feels safe, challenging, and genuinely exciting, now is the moment to secure a seat.

Book your classes

Every season brings a new group of kids and teens who surprise themselves. They enter quiet, curious, or unsure, then they catch a rhythm and discover what they can do. Watching that shift never gets old.

Your child can experience that same change this Winter and Spring.
