At the actor's garage, our goal is to improve every student’s use of life skills. We do this using various fun and challenging acting exercises. We are committed to teaching these skills through positive reinforcement and encouragement. At the actors’ garage student’s learn to be more self-confident, trusting, outgoing and comfortable in group situations. Our hope is that in addition to teaching young actors the basics, we will also help improve every student’s self-esteem; give each student a positive self image and their ability to believe in themselves. Although, we have had students go on to be professional actors, most of our students just become happier with themselves and those around them. Most importantly, our goal is to teach our students that it is their individuality, in itself, that is their greatest gift.
